[SOLVED] Can malware/virus be spread through screen sharing?

Hey!

Basically asking what the title says.
My girlfriend is worried her new laptop will be infected by my laptop, given I've a virus, when watching a movie using some sort of screen sharing.
I told her that is not going to happen since we're not on the same network, but I'm actually not completely sure.
So, is this possible?

If you mean there is a movie playing on your laptop and you are sharing screen through Skype with her, there is no way your machine can infect hers, unless on the same network. Even on the same network, there are very specific cases when this could happen.
