I am building a video editing machine with i7 8700 (non k) and Inno 3D RTX 2060 6GB. I will be connecting it to a Benq 27" PD2710QC QHD Monitor (for primary editing), a Dell S2218H FHD Monitor (for footage management and casual browsing) and a Sony Bravia 40" FHD TV (for video output). I won't be editing in 4k anytime sooner as I primarily work with transcoded media (in HD resolution).
I am wondering whether a RTX 2060 would be able to handle a 3 screen setup or should I upgrade to a RTX 2070 (currently out of my budget)? I was even considering downgrading to a GTX 1660 Ti as it is enough for FHD or 4k editing but I am doubtful whether that would fare any better at handling 3 screen setup compared to a RTX 2060.
Looking forward to your insightful comments.
Thank you.
