Hello! Im wondering how you guys would go about getting the most performance out of your pc? I play games competitively and want to make sure I have the smoothest experience, and least amount of input lag. What should I do to make sure my computer is at peak performance? Benchmarks, BIOS settings, Windows settings, etc. My components are a Ryzen 7 5800X3D, 16gb ram, 3060 super, and a B450 F motherboard. Im currently on windows 10 because I dont know if windows 11 is better for gaming. Any setting recommendations would be greatly appreciated!

upgrade to a 32GB(2x 16GB) 3600 low latency RAM kit,
a better B550 motherboard,
make sure to load BIOS optimized defaults with RAM profile enabled,
keep High Performance power profile enabled in the OS,
keep all game settings as low as possible,..

i would definitely stick with Windows 10.

Another thing that you can look at is your network latency (lag). It is not just about speed. Sure most people do not need dedicated Gigabit fiber at their house, but the reduced latency of fiber verses cable is a big plus. Once the dedicated fiber companies start hitting 3, 5, 8, and 10 Gbps, I expect the latency difference will be seconds instead of milliseconds.

if the OP is specifically interested in online gaming.
but, they do not specify so we don't know.

since they've never returned or offered much info regarding,
I'd bet they're just some low-level user that saw some YT videos claiming they should have better performance than they may have been seeing.

"competitive" has come to mean more of a type of game than a career over this last decade or so.
