i have a mobo with the nvidia nforce 570 ultra chipset. i was wondering whether in the future i could use an ati graphics card. especially because amd bought ati.

I agree with the yes's :) especialy since thats what im doing Nforce4 with an ATI graphics card and I hear you can also run Crossfire too but I havent had a chance to try it yet lol

From what I have found crossifre is blocked in the drivers from working in NF4 SLI mobos. I had wanted to try this with my DFI, but didn't buy the master card as I couldn't find one case where it worked. Theoretically it should work, but unfortunately it doesn't.

BTW, I'd sincerely love to be proved wrong and be shown a case where 2 crossfire cards outperform one single of those cards in an NF4 mobo.

WUSY has forceware(HACK) to allow CF to work in an SLI board 😛 ask him yourself

I think he has forcewares to get SLi working in a Crossfire mobo.

That could be... oh well, even so, you can buy a crossfire mobo and us both settings.

I"m sure the SLI board wouldnt be much harder to crack.....

I have a pencil modded Ultra-D I could try....but getting ahold of that master
X1800 is gonna be a biznitch.

Unless somebody has an X850 MC I could.......borrow
