Can't connect to wireless even though the bars are full.

Hi everyone.
I bought a new wireless modem. It works perfectly on my PC but I can't connect to wireless with my laptop or my phone.
I have the right configuration and the password is correct. The devices show full wireless bars but just can't connect.

I have an Acer Aspire M1100. When trying to download the lates wlan drivers from support.acer.com they can't be installed because they require at mos the XP version of Windows (I have windows 7).
