Hello, I got 2 questions, the first one is: I just got my new motherboard and its a aorus x870e elite wifi7, but it says on the package that it is (rev 1.1), and I can only find bios for rev 1.0 and 1.2 for my mobo. So if I should update bios, should I go with 1.0 or 1.2 bios? Second question: The cpu I got is the 7 9800x3d, do I even need to update my bios?

Welcome to the forums, newcomer!

You shouldn't need to update the BIOS since it's supported out of the box with the X870 chipset. You would need to be on the latest BIOS for stability concerns. Here's what you could do, fire up the system for the first time and after you get POST, get into BIOS asap, then look at the BIOS version that the board came shipped with.

We can then decipher if you need BIOS from PCB version 1.0 or PCB version 1.2(since both boards have different BIOS versions;
