Question Can't find the cable I need anywhere

Hi, I have an Asus Prime Z370-a motherboard. It has a male connector for a "1 x 5-pin EXT_FAN(Extension Fan) connector". I assume the cable needed is a 5-pin female connector to connect to the motherboard and then it should have a 4-pin male connector to connect a 4-pin fan to it. In one of the softwares I downloaded from the Asus website, it allows me to control three "extension fans". So, I assume you are supposed to connect three 4-pin fans to the "1 x 5-pin EXT_FAN(Extension Fan) connector".

I can't find a cable like that anywhere. The closest I could find was a cable designed for Dell computers, but it didn't fit my motherboard, the connectors were too wide.

This is what hooks up to that header;

It's a fan hub when fan hubs weren't exactly a popular part to own.

As Lutfij says above, you assumed incorrectly. Not surprising since the mobo manual explain NOTHING about this header. It is a non-standard feature of this mobo that allows connection of a proprietary circuit board to add three extra individual fan headers. The board is not included - must be bought separately. As an alternative one can use a third-party fan HUB attached to any of the existing mobo headers to allow use of extra fans. In cases of adding only a few fans a simpler SPLITTER on a header may suffice. If you need details on Splitter vs Hub, post back here.
