Question Can't get 144hz - 180hz option with laptop connected to external monitor ?

Laptop: Acer Aspire E5-576G

External monitor: Acer Nitro VG240Y M3

I just want to know what's the problem with my laptop?
I did try the same HDMI on another laptop and it gives the option of max 180hz that the external monitor supports. but not with my Acer laptop.

This is my Acer laptop with integrated UHD Graphics 620 + MX150, as you can see it only gives 120hz max:




And this is the other laptop with Intel UHD graphics which has option to max 180hz T_T:




Note that I used the same HDMI 2.0 cable on both laptops.

I was considering buying an Active HDMI-to-DP adapter but it's expensive and idk if its going to work on my laptop.

Try manually downloading, installing (reinstalling), and configuring the monitor drivers.
