I have been trying to overclock my amd 940 x4 for a while now, but with little success. On standard voltage, I can OC to 3.3 Ghz from 3.0 just fine and it runs completely stable. But as soon as I go up to 3.4 Ghz, I get blue screens after 2 minutes of battlefield 3. I increased the voltage in increments from 1.350v all the way to 1.45v and I'm STILL getting Blue Screens. Temperatures aren't an issue because they don't go past 58C at load. This is really confusing me. In case you're wondering, when I OCed, I did so from the BIOS and I only changed the multiplier. I have, however, tried OCing both multiplier and FSB, but that didn't make a difference.

My mobo is an AMD 780G Jetway HA06

im not using any programs to test load. I just play lots of games for about at least an hour and a half or so. i use CPU-Z and SpeedFan to monitor my temps and I am using the Hyper 212 Coolermaster for my cpu
