Question cant install game on secondary hdd, stuck at unpacking

im really desperate to know why this problem occured. so i built a new pc and i installed 1 500gb ssd and 1 2tb hdd. I installed all the software on the ssd and intended the hdd to be for gaming and work. The problem is when unpacking a game into the hdd it got stuck, i checked the driver status in the task manager and it was obvious that nothing was getting unpacked to the hdd. Does anyone have an explanation or fix? I tried installing the game on my laptop which has a single 1 tb ssd and it installed normally. This is my first pc with multiple storages so I don't have experience in the matter

some torrents refuse to install on certain drive letters
