[SOLVED] Can't share VPN with Windows 10 hotspot?

Hello, I'm trying to share my VPN connection from OpenVPN on my Windows 10 computer to my phone. I can make a hotspot in the settings and connect my device although when I attempt to change the adapter settings to connect the VPN, the hotspot adapter doesn't show up in the sharing drop down box as shown in this tutorial picture below.

Restarted WiFi Direct connections in Device Manager and restarted. Worked fine after that.
