Question Case and Radiator сompatibility ?

Hello guys

I am using this case

I wanna buy AIO 240 mm or 360mm but I can't use 240mm to up cuz rams and motherboard vram coolers not fit

This one is fit on my front? Arctic Liquid Freezer II 360mm or I can buy 240mm for front?

Typically you can fit a radiator on a mount of the same size or smaller. Though if you get a smaller radiator, you won't be able to use any adjacent fan mounts for a fan, unless the fan mount can support 80mm.

That half mesh, half solid front panel still isn't ideal for an AIO/CLC.
Plus, if you're going to use some 300mm+ long gpu in there with it, they'll screw with airflow, and the gpu might not get much.

Better to use an air cooler.

It doesn't help that Msi doesn't provide radiator clearance specifications for up top. At least the front can be figured out with some simple math.
Max gpu clearance is 340mm. [I prefer to leave 1mm gap to be on the safe side, so say, 339mm.]
Liquid Freezer II uses 38mm thick radiators. [More common models are 27 or 30mm thick.]
That leaves 301mm for gpu clearance... but as mentioned earlier, if the 2 are too close, it's just going to create a choke point; the Meshify C runs into that problem with front AIO/CLC + long gpus.

Picture clearly shows there's room for 240/280mm on top, with no ram clearance issues (Dominator ram is Not short), also shows possibility of 240/280/360mm in front.

If anything, the Arctics's higher thickness may create more issues on top than a standard thickness rad.

(gotta say, for an official msi website posted picture, that's some pretty mediocre wire management skills being shown off)

The 240mm radiator in the picture is offset towards the glass panel, but the picture doesn't show that. An LF II 240 would likely fit up there.
A LF II 280? Likely not.

By top radiator clearance, I meant how some manufacturers will have in parenthesis motherboard component height limit.
Msi doesn't state that for the top, nor front.
Observing at the pictures, the front is easy: a LF II 360 is not fitting up front, and the 280mm isn't fitting up top.
The Gungnir 111R is much newer than the LF IIs... you'd think Msi isn't taking into account thicker rads at all...

Current trend of most cases is 'let's make it shorter, in every direction, cuz that saves on materials costs'....

Old cases would have 2+ inches up top. New designs barely have room for the EPS to curl over.
