Question Case has a Molex cable (frontal fan) but it also has a very different 4 pin cable (Where it goes?)

The Case is a MSI Forge M100A.
It has 2 molex cables (for the frontal fans),
but a molex cable has another coming out, it is a 4 pin cable... and I don't know where it goes.

it has a little "tab" that makes it impossible to connect to the fan ports in the Motherboard.

I looked at the manual and nothing,
I tried looking for some clues in the cable itself, but nothing (it has a TVC and CST engraved).
I think it has to do with the control fan but no pins in the MB match that configuration.
also the case has a LED Button, but the manual says it has no function (weird to me, but thats what the manual said)

Someone has a clue?

a 4 pin cable... and I don't know where it goes.
it should connect to an LED hub behind the motherboard tray.

if some reason this case is missing it's included LED hub, you can connect it to a basic 4pin RGB header on the motherboard.
the case has a LED Button
this should be directly connected to the same LED hub.

this hub may also need some sort of external power;
SATA from power supply, etc,..

the manual should describe how to set it up exactly.

4 Pin RGB header in the MB are not compatible, because the cable has a little "tab" in the connector making conflict with the port in the MB.
This little "tab" in the middle of the cable is hitting the "tab" in the MB,

I tried the other side... but it has another tab who doesn't fit.

These are the Motherboard ports. That cable doesn't fit in neither of them.

PORT 2 (CPU Fan) (that cable fits perfectly because is different to the other, has no tabs making conflict)

I connected it with force... but it doesn't turn on (I disconnect it and the pc is turned on).
the manual should describe how to set it up exactly.
I checked the manual. It says the basic about the HDD, SSD, PSU... but nothing about the fans (no molex, no ports, nothing).

PORT 2 (CPU Fan) (that cable fits perfectly because is different to the other, has no tabs making conflict)
because this is a 4pin PWM fan connector going into a 4pin fan header.

not the same type of cable that you show coming from the front fans.
These are the Motherboard ports. That cable doesn't fit in neither of them.
this is also a 4pin PWM fan header that you are showing in the image.

not a 4pin RGB LED header
they are different and will be labeled differently.

MSI Forge M100A
this case is supposed to have RGB LED fans that connect to an LED hub behind the motherboard tray.

did you get this case second hand?
are they the original fans that came with it?
did you possibly remove the hub sometime before?

It's brand new.
I think you misunderstand, this version doesn't have the Hub (Model A).
The one with the Hub is the "R" model.
It says in the manual. "
"The LED switch function is only applicable to the MAG FORGE M100R"

I think i can conclude that this cable is only for a motherboard with a RGB pins...

i can conclude that this cable is only for a motherboard with a RGB pins...
now check the motherboard manual for it's descriptive image showing available headers.
if any for basic 4pin RGB are available they will be labeled.
won't work with any 3pin aRGB/jRGB headers, though they look similar.

you can still get your own LED hub and use it if the board doesn't offer any of these headers.
i would probably try to get it directly through MSI support/accessories store so you could verify that the case button could be directly connected and used as intended.
really should be pretty cheap.

the form they have is not compatible
the images you provide are all showing 4pin PWM fan headers, NOT RGB LED HEADERS.

as i stated before,
these are different headers.
one is for PWM fans,
the other will be for LED connection and is NOT the same thing.

you will have to check the motherboard manual layout and actually look at the differences.
unless this board is so archaic that it does not include a header layout image in it's manual, you will see the difference labeled and explained in that image.

4pin PWM fan headers and 4pin RGB headers are not the same!
even just looking a the board with your own eyes you will see either:
CPU_FAN*, CHA_FAN*, etc..

or something related to LEDs;
RGB, LED, rainbow, whatever,...

also as i stated before,
check the motherboard manual for a header layout.
if it is available it will show if there are LED connections available.

I searched the cable you said and it seems it only controls the Fans (speed i guess), not the "rgb".
you will have to check the motherboard manual layout and actually look at the differences.
I checked the manual again... and It doesn't have RGB headers, only those two "common" fan headers (CPU_FAN*, CHA_FAN*).

I was thinking that cable will control the "colors" of the RGB, but I guess only controls the speed of the fans (even when they work with a molex).
Thanks for clarify, I think I can leave that cable alone for the time being.
and sorry for the trouble, I'm kinda slow.
