I think it would be great if the U.S. could invent a Virus that would attack an
entire country's network if they try to invade ours. A virus that would shut their
entire transportation and aviation system down. That would probably put a stop
to all this spying.

You don't think that's already been in play for the last decade?

heh...was probably facilitated by an inside person, someone who got paid to make the system insecure or gave info on how it could be hacked...and just because the ips trace back to China is no solid proof that it definately *was* China...

and don't be so sure that all that TARP money is going to the banks...its been a decade of swindles...

[citation][nom]IzzyCraft[/nom]Sorry China I don't believe anything you said after your blatant propaganda about the Tibetan people.[/citation]

So our government's word is more trustworthy? Not to mention our government doesn't give a fuck about Tibet other than using it as a pawn to against China.

wow...global politics at Tom's...
Evreyone knows that the best hackers don't get prosecuted...they get hired. This is true in every country. No one turns a blind eye to cyber crime, they either prosecute or cajole into harnessing that skill to their own benefit, sometimes both. I don't see anything wrong with that for any country. Take a gang-banging hoodlum who's good at sports in the US.... what do we do? pay them millions in the NBA or NFL. Nothing wrong with that either...just using a persons skills for the benefit of others....it's what makes the world go 'round.

OK OK lets settle this! if they stolen the technology they will make a jet thats similar to the f-35 (which i assume they r talking about.) If they never make a similar fighter jet then they have not stolen it. But it would b pretty bold of China to make a similar jet after saying they do not hack.

The most important part of the F35 is the software; it's an astable airframe which uses active flight control surfaces to maintain stable flight. If the Chinese got that, they will be at least a decade closer to producing their own simialr aircraft. Keep in mind that it doesn't have to look a whole lot like the F35 to benefit form advanced fly-by-silicon controls.

So wall street journal claims that there's "strong evidence" that the hackers are from China. Well? Show us the proof! What's the hold back? Those are just Ip addresses and if they are criminals why aren't I seeing them now? What did the people from United States do in response to this? They didn't go and talk to the authorities of China, they blogged and published a journal to bitch about it!

I've read all the comments that have been pushed on this topic here and most of them referred back to the Tianenmen Square incident. But let me ask you "when did the Tianenmen Square incident occur"? Is it a correct representation of what China is TODAY? What about the Olympics. Did anything "bad" go on there? Why didn't anyone mention that?

Americans need to
1) stop DEMONIZING nations who they feel are a "threat" to them.
2) stop making references to the past and lets talk about "recent" events.
3) Show proper proof to us in the public if not, at least show us that you are doing something about the issue (eg: talk to the country's officials) rather than just bitch about it.

I'm not saying that China did or didn't hack the US. But let's keep in mind that "they" are innocent until proven guilty and just saying "high certainty" doesn't mean "complete certainty". Watch how these people write their articles. They are very careful with their wording. They try to imply certain things but if you read carefully they don't mean it! Until they can be "totally certain" that the ips were from the Chinese, shut the hell up!

And we don't hack China.
Nobody hacks into each other because we all live in one big happy world where all the faults are US Generated.
Don't you know yet?
Everybody can blame everything that is wrong in there life on the US and nobody has to take responsibility for anything?
Of course China would never hack into us, terrorist don't exist, it's all lies... Lies I tell you!
Now back to the real world.

Tibetan people? I believe reading in the news and reputable magazine (something like newsweek or similar) that the chinese set them free from being the monk's control slave and people are living better before the "dalai" ruin everything?

so, someone there taste the sweetness of freedom and now want a bigger pie?

Of course the government doesn't, they hire professionals to do it for them.

Then they deny to the world, saying that the US is still in "cold-war" mentality.

It's so obvious. Even as a Chinese-Canadian.

Something that's interesting: The proposed J-XX Fighter Program resembless the F-22 in great detail from what the pictures show.

I think the difference in the US spying versus China and Russia spying on the US is the quality of the information they steal. China steals IP from everyone, so they can catch up with the modern world, in all categories of innovation, not just military. They are lazy, just steal instead of develop their own shit. The same with Russia, but more sinister, with Putin and his KGB thugs. They also both want to probe the US' vulnarabblties since the US is most dependent on tech for warfare, and communication. Asymmetric warfare, since no one can ever win straight up against the US. Rule number one, never play your opponents game and use their strength against them.

Everybody hacks everybody. The US spies on everyone. So what if China is spying on the US. Human curiosity. Deal with it. It's just a matter of whether you're successful or not.

So what are you implying? Are you saying that China is 100% guilty? You're not even going to take a look at the so called "high certainty" evidence before judging whether or not China is guilty? You can point fingers at Russia and China about how lazy they are and so you're saying that Americans are 100% not lazy? Look at their car sales and you can already see how "hard working" they are. Most people are laid back with pension plans that feed them for life. If you just look at just that point alone, I don't see why anyone who has been working at an American car company for a good amount of years would want to even try paying effort to his/her work.

Like I said, instead of bitching and whining about it, how about doing something more constructive and working out the problem together. The US is all strong but ask the "American Companies" if China was to get wiped out this instant would they survive? How much sales would they lose? How much man power will they lose? The fact is, we need each other so why are you pointing fingers for? Is that going to help the situation? So what if China is the real hacker? Are the Americans planning to go into China like they did to Iraq and start messing around with their land because they are a "threat"? Grow up!

Grow up![/citation]Speaking of "grow up," have you failed to notice that the Nazi Party, er, I mean, Republicans are no longer in control of the US? Military adventures designed to distract the voters from the utter failure to properly administer the government, while plundering the economy, are not in the style of President Obama. Besides, with most of the manufacturing of goods destined for the US marketplace being made in China, it would make no economic sense (even if it made military sense, which it doesn't - no one wants to invade a nation that has a history of shielding government officials by surrounding them with innocent women and children).
