Hello! When I defrag, it won't, and tells me to CHKDSK :/f. It won't let me.Message is f is in use. When I boot with cd and CHKDSK message comes up F parameter not specified Running CHKDSK in read only. File system is NTFS. Cannot lock current drive. What does this mean? I thought my file was a FATS. What is the difference? Anyone help. Thanks alot Dakart.

The command you want is chkdsk c: /f where c: can be any drive
letter and /f means "fix". The spaces are each single spaces. You may need
to press Y to dismount the drive, or to run chkdsk on the next reboot.
