I recently did a clean install of windows 10 and since, chrome no longer works. Both Edge and Firefox work fine, but chrome will not load any pages, the connection times out. (it can however load google searches.) I have uninstalled and reinstalled and that did not help. what else can I try?

As a side note, when installing windows 10 it got stuck in an infinite loops various times. I was up all night jumping through hoops and resetting to get windows back. I eventually managed to get it up and running and my internet drivers were missing. I grabbed my ethernet drivers using a different computer and installed them and it worked. everything seems to be working fine....except chrome.

I'm kind of at a loss of what to try other than reinstalling? Any advice?

I would uninstall the current ethernet drivers and install the proper ones.
If the ethernet port is on the MB then get the driver from the MB website.
If it's an ethernet card then get it from the card's website.

When you say uninstall the drivers and install the "proper ones" what exactly do you mean? I already got the drivers from my mobo website.
