Question cloned my hard drive to m.2 SSD. BIOS not showing the SSD as boot option. Help?

I need some help with this please. Some info about the PC, will add if need more:
MB - Asrock b450m hdv
SSD - Sabrent 256gb m.2 SSD
Hard Drive - 500gb seagate HDD

Which OS ? W7 would need drivers for M.2 installed as it doesn't have them initially. Other than that, it has to be formatted as GPT not MBR. BIOS should see it as "Windows UEFI on Sabrent 256gb m.2 SSD" or something to that effect.

Windows 10. I'm very new to this whole thing, this is the first PC I've built. Could you possibly elaborate on how to format it?

if you have a PC with working windows then you can use rufus to format your ssd to GPT. But Its still best to install windows the usual way as it then also creates a small boot partition to hold the boot information. I don't know whether having that information on the same partition as itself is still a viable thing.

One way would be to convert to GPT original installation before attempting another clone operation: https://www.thewindowsclub.com/convert-mbr-to-gpt-disk
Other than that and actually best way would be clean W10 installation on empty M.2 drive, windows will set everything exactly as needed and since you are not changing MB it will activate automatically.

Ok so I just checked and the SSD is already formatted as GPT. Is there something else that is going on that is possibly causing this to not work?

Kill everything including primary partition so whole disk is RAW, no formatting, nothing. Than let windows do it's job.

Kill which drive? The SSD or the HDD?
