Question Cloud III Wireless – great in YouTube, bad in games only on my PC – need help

Hi! Maybe someone can help me.
I recently bought HyperX Cloud III Wireless. The sound is totally fine in YouTube and when listening to music, but in games like Rust and CS2 it's just terrible — like I'm inside a barrel. Sometimes it's too quiet, then suddenly way too loud. Just overall very bad and muddy.
Here’s the weird part:
I plugged the exact same headset with the same settings into another PC — and the sound was crystal clear in both games and music.

Before that, I also tried Asus TUF Gaming H3 Wireless, and it had exactly the same issue — perfect sound in YouTube, terrible in games only on my PC.
So I’m starting to believe it’s something with my own PC. Here’s what I’ve tried so far (none of this helped):
Reinstalled and rolled back audio drivers
Tried every USB port (both front and back, USB 2.0 and 3.0)
Changed all in-game sound settings — no effect
Plugged in old wired headphones → sound is perfect everywhere, even in games

At this point I’m out of ideas. Any help would be hugely appreciated

Are both systems of the same specs and the same OS, all the way down to the updates? Might want to mention the make, model and BIOS for both system's motherboards and the OS you're on inclusive of it's version(not edition).

Reinstalled and rolled back audio drivers
Can you elaborate on this? Have you tried using HP's Ngenuity app to manage your headset or are you managing with what the OS installs?

So I downloaded the original program from HyperX, and nothing helped,
The operating system on both my PC and my friend's PC was Windows 10. But on the motherboard I have Tuf gaming B460m Plus

Do you have any audio programs installed?

have you checked because some are bundled in with motherboard software. If you haven’t installed the software that came with the motherboard or with the headphones that might be why
After reinstalling Windows, I didn't see anything, not even a program from HyperX, but I doubt that the problem is in Windows or in the settings. Because I put wired old headphones, everything is fine on wireless this problem.
Also, for some reason, the Asus headphones had the same problem, they were returned to the store thinking they were defective. And now I realize that the problem is with me.

I would be very grateful for your help because the headphones are good, I would not want to return them, so I will provide as much information as possible that could help me

Thing is it likely is windows that’s the issue. You’re resorting to a basic catch all solution which means it’s fine running in browser but not in games. Is sonic turned on?
