Question Colors do not show up on desktop monitor but do on laptop display

So I recently purchased the msi G241 because i hoped it would fix the problem because my old one had the same problem but i realize i still have the same problem. Some colors will show up on my laptop display but not my G241 I will attach one image of my G241 and my laptop display so you can see. A friend with the same monitor does not have this problem but he has a desktop. does anyone have a solution or any ideas of what it could be.

- note: i can not figure out how to insert an image from my computer can someone tell me then i will delete this

i Actually just decided to reset my whole pc by deleting everything except local files for this and other problems and now it works like normal. so it was most liektly something i downloaded at one point or a setting i changed
