Hi,

i have an hp laptop bought in 2013. It's an HP 15-g006sl.

My battery is dead, and i want to change it's components cause the pc is really slow.

I want to change:

  • The RAM,
  • The GPU,
  • The CPU,
  • The Mother Board.

Sorry for my english, but i'm italian.

Welcome to the forum :D

The RAM can possibly be upgraded to a higher capacity.
The GPU is part of the CPU and the CPU cannot be changed.
the CPU cannot be changed.
the motherboard cannot be changed.

the battery can be changed

Laptops are typically upgraded to the max, when you buy them that is all they will ever be. you may increase the RAM, you may increase the HDD, but that is the extent of the changes a laptop will allow.

I suggest looking for a newer unit.

Yes, i considered buying a new laptop, but i won't be using it everyday because i have another pc (not a laptop) and it will be useless buying another laptop only for using it: 2,3 times a month.

Anyway, do you have some advice on the ram and ssd?

UPDATE:

I searched on amazon, and i found this:
  • Ram: Crucial CT102464BF160B (8GB) 40 Euro
  • SSD: Kingston A400 SSD SA400S37/480G 63 Euro
But, i'm sure that the motherboard won't resist because i need a new cpu. The old one is gone. I was thinking an
AMD Athlon 220 GE Dual Core CPU Radeon Vega 3 AM4/

. And... i don't know anything about motherboard. Do you have any advice?
