I don't know if this is the right section but I didn't know where else to put it as I don't know what the problem is.

A couple of days ago my computer started showing this screen at boot: View: https://i.imgur.com/flmRQLL.jpg

It happened suddenly and I have no idea what caused it. This light also appears at boot: View: https://i.imgur.com/jMFNnuC.jpg

To solve the issue temporarily I hit F1, ESC then OK and it restarts and everything's fine without having changed anything. The PC functions perfectly after boot but I have to repeat this procedure every time which is annoying.

Specs:
Intel Core i7-6700K 4 GHz Processor
Asus MAXIMUS VIII HERO ATX LGA1151 Motherboard
Corsair Vengeance LPX 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4-2666 CL16 Memory
Western Digital Caviar Blue 1 TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive
Samsung 950 PRO 256 GB M.2-2280 NVME Solid State Drive
Asus GeForce GTX 1070 8 GB Video Card
EVGA SuperNOVA G2 650 W 80+ Gold Certified Fully Modular ATX Power Supply

Anyone have a clue what the problem is and how to fix it? Any help would be much appreciated.

it looks like your BIOS settings were reset.
"Please enter setup to recover BIOS setting"
the BIOS is asking you to go into the BIOS and verify that everything is correct, if it is, save the settings and exit.

this can happen if the BIOS battery is depleted and can no longer supply enough power when off to keep the settings.

your manual should detail exactly what the LED means and how to correct it and how to navigate the BIOS.

I've already tried saving then restarting but the same problem occurs either way. How do I make sure the BIOS battery doesn't get depleted?

Did you set up a raid configuration?

I'll try it.
