Good Odd Morning,

I used to have an i7 3770k build, didn't realise after the years have gone by we're in the 8th generation and it's a burden to hunt for lga 1155 motherboards.

So i'm looking to make upgrades for a gaming desktop

I currently have ; WHat i'm looking for -60-100 fps on average for games like Overwatch, league, blacks ops, probs fortnite too that can also handle intense software programs like adobe, multiple open applications.

GeForce GTX 1060 Graphics
A 2tb driver
a 500 & 750 watt power supply

I'm looking to spend between £100-200 for a cpu
Motherboard £80-£140

I'd also need dd4-5 rams if they exist? Any input is welcome, I do have a budget of £200-400. Not looking to go overboard if I don't need to. Thanks for all the input inadvance.

Edit: I can figure out compatibility issues, Just would like advice in which products are reliable and perform for my need in mu budget range

Personally I'm not sure it gets any better than this no matter the budget
Sounds more like the core of a new PC you're after. Modern CPUs would require DDR4 RAM, so that's a cost in itself. Probably best if you have an overall budget rather than how much you want to spend on an individual component. Perhaps something along the lines of the following:

Is your motherboard starting to go faulty? I would expect an i7-3770k to still hold up quite well.

Pricing isn't a major concern. But I would like a good cpu that can handle the gaming use and the work use of adobe softwares. Where I'd have no issues running multiple things in the background.
