Hi, I have a huge problem with my new computer. I just built it over Christmas and it is still under a month old. Everytime I try to watch a video or play a game that is not a flash game my computer will completely freeze to a point where I cant start task manager. The worst part for me is I think it has to do with the graphics card but when I have my computer in safe mode to check for viruses, which there were none, it will again freeze. I am using an XFX Double D Radeon HD graphics card. I had a slight problem with it earlier due to the shell being warped so the fan would skip on it on rare occasions and stop. After the freeze I open up my CPU and take a look at the fan but they are both running. What should I do?

This is the classic symptoms of memory problems, you should run a memory test program such as memtest86 for at least three passes to test the memory. You should always run a memory test program on a new build or when you change the memory anyway. If the memory is faster than 1333Mhz then you will have to manually enter the timings in the BIOS.
