I have 7,000 on pc rust. As of 3 days ago I am no longer able to play because every server i join on I have outrageous ping despite being on ethernet with insanely good speeds. I have deleted and re installed rust. reset my dns, ip address, changed my dns server, made rust run high priority on task manager, changed in game settings, and a few other things that im probably leaving out. Below is a video of what is happening along with my internet speeds.

Ive tried everything i can think of and cant find anything with a good answer anywhere on the web. If someone can help me out I owe them big time. Thank you for your time.

What is meant by "7,000"? Something seems missing?

Update your post to include full system hardware specs and OS information.

Make and model router (or modem/router if combined)?

Have you tried another known working (at speed) Ethernet cable?

On your computer run "ipconfig /all" (without quotes) via the Command Prompt.

Copy and paste the full results in your next post.

Suggestions:

1) Try another known working (no lags or spikes) Ethernet cable

2) Increase the lease time.

3) Disable IPv6.

4) Run and post the results of ping, tracert, and pathping. Target Google at 8.8.8.8

Lease time is changed via the router's configuration screens.

Who has admin rights to the router? You will need help from that person.

= = = =

Make and model modem?

pathping:

The results are not what I would expect......

Are you in some environment such as an apartment building, dorm, hotel, or office spaces where internet service is being provided?

No i live in a house and have a fiber cable. I have admin rights to the router. the modem is some type of DZS dont know exact model got it from my ISP. The only conclusion i can come to is my packet loss since i only lag on rust and its a high intensity game.
