Hey guys. I been using my computer for four years now and out of nowhere my monitor is starting having this stuttering issue.
It only happens after 30-40 mins after turning on the pc. The time it takes get shorter and shorter if I turned on and off my pc on the same day hours before. While it's rare for the entire screen to flicker like that on the video (mostly it only happens without the lines everywhere) the flickering been happening since January. I checked different hdmi cables and did gpu driver updates and even tweaked the refresh rate. Everything works complete fine except this flickering.

Also sometimes the flickering goes away completely after 3-4 hours of use. Can anyone help?

Ryzen 5 3500 cpu
Amd rx6400gpu
16gb ram
Psu - corsair ccv550 80+

Welcome to the forums, newcomer!

You forgot to mention the make and model of your PSU in your build. What BIOS version are you on for your motherboard? Have you tried connecting the monitor to another known working system?

Try and run DDU in Safe Mode to remove all GPU drivers(Intel, Nvidia and AMD) then manually install the latest GPU driver sourced from AMD's support site in an elevated command, i.e, Right click installer>Run as Administrator.

Thank you for the reply and welcome. Sorry I didn't mention the psu because I didn't think it was the problem as I can still use my pc to produce music (which takes lot of cpu) but it's a corsair cv550 80+ psu and as for the bios I have the current sinkhole fix update amd released. I did do the ddu method to remove my gpu drivers and used the latest drivers from amd site and sadly it didn't fix anything. I currently don't have any monitors I can check on but I'm gonna try plugging my pc to my tv and if the problem still occur. Thanks again
