I'm getting new PC so i want to know if Cooler Master eXtreme Power Plus 500W can power it. The specs are following:

MB: Gigabyte GA-Z77-DS3H
CPU: i5-3570k
GPU: HD 7870 2GB Sapphire GHz Edition
HDD: SATA3 7200rpm 1TB Western Digital
RAM: 2x4GB 1600MHz
One DVD reader, keyboard, mouse, monitor, headphones etc.. this is consider as usual so i didn't needed to post lol. The PSU as itself cost's 44 euros. Does it really provides 500W.. i saw that there is only 1 x PCI-e 6. If is this bad PSU can you suggest me good one for 55e most that can power this system and to be at least 500W? Note: If this PSU is bad don't suggest Corsair because there is no corsair in my country.. only suggest from Cooler Master, Seasonic, Chieftech, ThermalTake. It don't need to be modular but it would be good for cable management. Cheers! :ange:

More Like Cooler Master Extremely Crappy Power Minus 500w.

A CM EP unit is utterly horrible in design. It's far overrated, unstable, low in quality, and literally a piece of turd. It is in fact a CM EP 460w with different transitors which itself is literally just a CM EP 400w unit.

The extreme power series is one of the many reasons why people deplore CM for their PSU's. They falsely advertise and use their name in order to make sales. These units are absolutely no goes and must be avoided.

If you're on a budget than at least go for an Antec EA380/430 or a Corsair CX430v2. Any Antec, Seasonic, Corsair, or XFX units will be leaps and bounds better.

Seasonic is a top manufacturer.

Here's a good tiered list as well.

Manufactures flat out lie about PSUs, except the top brands. Always check professional reviews

Yeah don't go with that coolermaster extreme power s**t
Seasonic is a good psu manufacturer
I can suggest this better than ss-500et : Thermaltake TPX-575M
Can u list psu's with cost that are available at ur end. We can suggest the best out of them

OK, but like i said i dont want to pay more that 70 euros for PSU because i don't want CF/SLI. I will make list now:
ThermalTake 450W - 29e
ThermalTake 500W - 38e
Seasonic SS-400ET - 41e
Cooler Master 500W - 44e
Seasonic SS-380GB - 52e
Seasonic SS-500ET - 60e
Cooler Master GX 550W - 64e (i don't trust GX series because many ppl said its bad)
ThermalTake SMART Modular 80PLUS 550W - 67e
Seasonic SS-520GB - 78e
Cooler Master Silent PRO M2 620W - 78e

Thank you for answer but can you tell me about these Cases
1) Cooler Master Elite 430 - 43e
2) LC Power Pro 918B JUPITER_X - 43e
3) LC Power Pro 974B Iron Blue - 37e
4) BitFenix Merc Alpha - 35e
5) Spire Sonex 6010 Plus - 28e
Which one of these will be best for my system? And does CM Elite 430 have cable management? Maybe this is not thread to post this but i think you will know which is best. Thanks

I'd take the CM 430. It's a spacious case with a decent enough quality although the plastic does get on my nerves at times (usually uses Antec cases... they're made of steel ).

u need to specify model nos of thermaltake and cm psu's. There are way too many models with a certain wattage
Out of Seasonic's list since u specified the model no. Seasonic SS-520GB is the best. It is 8e more but it is worth it. I currently have this model. U never know when u need to add more things to ur system in future.

As for the case i'd go with cm elite 430. But it has poor cable management.

Edit: The Seasonic SS-520GB should be available for 60e. Don't know why it is so high in ur area
