Copiying files to usb problem

Hello,I have a problem with copying large files to usb, and evry now and then i get warning that the system could not find this item and that its no longer located at curtain file-verify the items location and try again. What seems to be the problem? Maybe if that the file that wont go threw is saved on two places? Can that be the problem?

USB what??? A USB hard drive or a USB flash drive. If it's a flash drive, it's most likely formatted as FAT32 in which case you can't have files that exceed 4gb. You can always reformat the flash drive to NTFS, but then it may not be recognized in other devices.
