I was recently given a spare Corsair CX430 PSU by a friend and I would like to use it with an old system I have which I use for less bulky work etc. The system has an old Intel DH55TC motherboard.

Can I use the PSU with the old computer as it's currently using a very low quality Mercury KEZ-M200 PSU or would I need a specific converter to make it work?

Intel ARK sets the DH55TC as having a 2x12 ATX Power Connector.
Mercury's website specifies a 20-24 Pin connector with their KEZ-M200 Model.
Corsair CX-430 has a 24 pin ATX connector.

Would appreciate the help.

Solution
The Corsair CX430 has a 20+4pin ATX connector, meaning that the extra 4pins are removable if the motherboard is 20pin only. You won't need any converters.

Thanks Matthew,
I opened up the machine and found out the DH55TC has 24 pin power connecter. Had no issues replacing the PSU. It's working as intended.

Cheers,
Chris
