Question Corsair SPEC-01 Maximum Cooler Height

Hey guys

I am considering buying the Noctua NH-U12S Redux cpu cooler for my pc. However, I use the Corsair SPEC-01 case, which says that the maximum cooler height for the case is 150mm. This is a problem, as the Noctua cooler's height is 158mm.

I know that there can sometimes be a form of 'wiggle room' when it comes to these measurements, so I was wondering if anyone had any similar experience/knowledge regarding what's possible in terms of cooler height with this case.

There is not 8mm of wiggle room in the Spec-01. I've used this case, and it is very close to150mm max height.

What CPU are you trying to cool? Take a look at the NH-D12L.
