Corsair tx650 not working PLEASE HELP!

Hi I just bought a new corsair tx650 power supply from amazon and in my excitement as I was switching on the pc nothing happened I've spent hours trying to find the problem if anyone knows how to fix this please reply, oh and here are my specs
Acer aspire m3802 windows 7 intel core 2 quad 6gb memory 750gb hard drive and a nvidia GeForce gtx 570 1gb

Firstly, are you sure you haven't missed any connections. Go through each wire again and make sure they are all connected at the right places.

How about the little switch on the back of the power supply?

On the back of the case, next to where to plug it into the PSU.

Also there are some weird yellow and orange sort of pins and I plugged the connectors in randomly is that right or have I done it wrong so the CPU cant boot

Random plugging in is a bad thing...look at your motherboard manual. Each one of those cables has to go in the right place. One of them connects the power button to your motherboard and allows you to start the PC.

The thing is I don't know where my manual is but I'll keep looking while you guys try and figure something thanks for replying

Well I couldn't find my manual so I'll tell you the name of my motherboard it says it's a Acer g43t-am motherboard any help would be appriceated

Yes but when I plugged the wires in properly it still wouldn't start up

Did you turn the switch on the rear of the PSU on? Did you breadboard before you installed it in the PC?

I did flick the switch on at the back but didn't breadboard in case I break any components and it will take to long
