Cpu and gpu

I have built my own computers and just wondering. Would a amd propus 620 parred with a hd5850 card be good or would it be better to go with amd 965 and ati hd5770. I do play games but I don't set them to super hi-res.

the 620 and the 5850 would do better all around, the 620 will give enough FPS to keep you above 60 which is all you need, and the 5850 will allow you to play at max settings on higher resolutions while the 5770 wouldnt let you max stuff out beyond about 1680x1050.

so is that cpu good enough or would you pick something else

That cpu is definitely good enough in combination with the 5850 gpu.
