Hi, yesterday I tried connecting a fan to the cpu 2 fan header on my mobo (<Mod Edit> Lenovo motherboard), it worked but then I decided to remove the fan completely and so I did. Now everytime I turn on my PC it says cpu 2 an error even tough it's not plugged in. The PC can boot up normally if I just press f2 but I would still like to remove the error completely.

I suspect what happened is this. You WERE running with no fan on that header and the system was happy because it had recognized there was nothing there. Then you added a fan which was deteted and the system set its configuration to recognize that and monitor its speed for possible failure. Then you removed that fan, so now there is NO fan speed signal, and the header detects that as a fan FAILURE. You need to go into BIOS setup for that particular fan header and set an option to IGNORE that header as a fan connection point. This will stop it from detecting NO fan speed signal there and raising the alarm.
