Question CPU fan will spin for few seconds, then shut off.

So, whenever I turn on my pc the fan will spin for like 5 seconds and shut off. Now idk if that's because my mobo is broke or if it has something to do with my psu. I did try and connect my display port to my mobo but nothing happend, does this mean my mobo is fried?

CPU: Intel Core i5 8600K

GPU: Asus GeForce GTX 1070 Ti ROG Strix

RAM: Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro

MOBO: Asus Prime Z370-A

COOLER: CRYORIG H5 Ultimate

PSU: EVGA SuperNOVA G3 550W

Had it for a few months, suddenly it stopped working. No earlier problems.

Your description is a bit unclear. Does only the fan stop moving or does the whole system shut down? It's normal that your mobo doesn't give an image if you have a gpu installed. It's possible but requires some changes in the bios as far as I know.
