Hi,
I recently decided to upgrade my old GPU/CPU to a GTX 1060 6GB and an i5-8400.
I did consider a Ryzen 5 2600X too but as my motherboard is stuck at AM3+ socket CPUs I guess I couldn't get any better than what I currently have.

Long story short, I need to upgrade my motherboard to get a new CPU that fits a new GPU.
I'm not an expert and by reading online it sounds like Intel CPUs perform better in gaming, so I'd prefer one of those.
I'd still need at least a new 8GB RAM DDR4 anyway.
I'm open for any suggestions though, feel free to tell your opinion.

My setup:

CPU: FX-8320E
MOBO: M5A97 Plus
GPU: GeForce GTX 1050 (2GB)
RAM: 1x Corsair 8GB (DDR3 1600 Mhz)

I currently have a 1440x900 monitor, soon to be upgraded but I'm not even thinking about 4K so I'm ok with HD/Full HD.
I mostly use my PC for gaming like Open World games (Conan Exiles and Dying Light) but I play FPS games too.
I'd like to find a motherboard that would use both my CPU and GPU's potential and still be open for future upgrades too.
My "total" budget would be €700 but I'd prefer saving some, so the cheaper the better, as long as everything is balanced and working.

I could get a GTX 1060 6GB for €220
and an i5-8400 for €180

What Motherboard do you think I should get ?
And would my new specs be good enough for my aims ?
