My computer's CPU has been overheating and turning off and freezing, I've tried everything, we bought a new cooler, set fan and pump to max, the last thing I did was change my BIOS setting from PMW to DC mode after I had a huge crash and the CPU debug light came on. If this doesn't fix the issue I don't know what to do.
Could that have been why the pump wasn't cooling the CPU even if I had an app that was making my fan run at full speed (fan control) ?
But it isn't even a guarantee that it's my CPU overheating, the other possibility is my PSU is shorting or spiking?
I just want to know if switching from PWM to DC mode in the BIOS and maxing the fans could be the fix.
PS: I didn't want to change the fans speeds in BIOS, only as a last resort.
