Question Cpu power header

I just got a Gigabyte Z790 D DDR4 mobo. I used the ATX 12v 2x4 , but I still have a section 12v 2x2 open, I do not have another power plug, is that if I was to OC. I am using a EVGA Super Nova 852 G2 power supply. Thanks

only needed for OC, but your PSU should hav another 8 pin (CPU2) connector to be able to plug into the 4 pin of the motherboard

Thanks....I think I still have the box so I will check for the cable. I did have the box and found the cable.
