Question CPU temp got higher after I reapplied thermal paste the second time

I now idle on 70-90 and when I use browser it reaches 105 from the previous 60-70 idle... What's the deal with this?

I used alcohol to wipe off the old TP and applied a new peasize TP and then installed the heatsink

I suggest removing the cooler and then putting it back more carefully this time. Make sure it press evenly on all areas. High temp could result from the heatsink not properly touching the cpu.
