Cpu upgrade for bad company 2

would it be worth while to replace an E8500 dual core with a Intel Core 2 Quad Q9650 3.0GHz? Im running 4 bg's of ram with a 260gtx. if i drop in the quad i dont need to do a whole system rebuild(i5/7, board, ram)

But what price are you getting that CPU? A 200$ price is justified.

IMO E8500 is still a very good gaming CPU and if you OC it , It might handle BC2 well (Which may need a quad for running at high).

You should wait until a proper bench has been released with quad and dual core.
