What is the CPU usage % when you are doing nothing on the PC?

There are always background tasks running, so CPU usage is never really 0. You can use Task Manager to check how much is being used by each application/process.

Your utilisation will depend on what programs and services are running in the background.

AV scanners or malware may add to utilisation even then the user is doing nothing.

Ye but the problem is there are alot of svchost.exe and they are taking alot of CPU %

Svchost includes pretty much all Windows services. Leave it for a while to finish what ever it is doing; it may just be an update in progress.

Well i scanned the PC and found no viruses. Svchost.exe is still taking 35% of my CPU. Maybe i should update windows 7 because i never update it.

Lol the CPU is no 0% adobe flash was the problem LOL i had to update it xD
