Hi everyone,
I recently inherited my family's old Dell Desktop which had some version of Windows XP on it, along with years and years of junk and clutter. Wanting to get a fresh start, I installed the latest edition of Windows XP Pro. Installation goes fine and completes. The computer runs a little more slowly than i had remembered, but I can handle it.
The problem is, whenever I turn off the computer, it crashes when starting up again. I get the blue screen then it restarts. i re-install windows xp pro, and the cycle just repeats.
Any recommendations? Aside from the obvious never turn off your computer
