Question Crashing to the desktop and I am lost on how to fix it

Hey there, I keep getting hella crashing and it's driving me wild. Games crash to the desktop, webpages crash, my computer randomly powers down. I'm not knowledgeable about computers and don't really understand how to start trouble shooting and was hoping that I might get some advice on where to start.

I've tried three things so far. The first was to take my computer into the store. They performed a clean OS reinstall and told me that the RAM was going bad. So, I replaced it. The seconded thing is that I looked at both event viewer and Reliability History to maybe figure out why it was crashing so often. Sadly, I just got confused about it and couldn't figure it out. The only thing that I did try was to look at the Fault Module Name, notice that "D3DCOMPILER_47.dll" had failed, googled it, and it was related to DirectX. So, I reinstalled it, but nothing was fixed.

I have the GPU updated to the latest drivers
I have the Motherboard updated to the latest driver (bios at factory)

Motherboard: ROG Maximus Z790 Hero Wifi6e
GPU: 2080ti
RAM: Trident Z 5, (x2 32gb)

Storage:
Crucible T700: 2tb
EVO 970 Plus: 2tb

Crucial MX300: 500gb
Samsung SSD 850: 500gb
Intel SSD 530 Series: 250gb

Western Digital HHD 1001FALS: 1TB




PSU: Thor 850

This is likely bad news.

13th and 14th gen chips have a known issue that is expressed as instability and graphics related crashes. This was caused by improper code that was letting the CPU receive too much voltage when it shouldn't. This damages the CPU over time.

Intel has released new Microcode as of this month. However, if your CPU is already damaged then the only option is to claim your warranty on the CPU and get a replacement.

Intel has extended your warranty to 5 years as well, so the replacement will be guaranteed for that long.
