cross platform programs

how do i get win xp to open a croos platform file? the only info that the
properties tab shows me is that it is an "installer" file. Windows says that
it is not avalid win32 app. help.

Hi,

What file is it? Where did it come from? By "cross platform", what platforms
are you referring to? "Not a valid Win32 file" indicates that the file is
either corrupt or not intended for 32-bit systems.
