I couldnt find anything about this in the SLi/Crossfire FAQ, but does a 2 card Crossfire setup with say, the 4850, need 1 Crossfire bridge or 2? And if it only needs 1 is it dangerous to use 2, just out of curiosity.

I can't remember off hand where I read the review, but they testetd one and two crossfire bridges and there was NO difference. The reason there are two attachment points on crossfire cards is so you can crossfire three or more cards. For example card One to card Two, card Two to card Three, card Three to card Four.
