ddr400 with 533fsb cpu?

I think I can do this but I'd feel better with concurrence from those in the know. Through prior upgrades the following parts have trickled down and I'd like to put them all together if possible. Obviously not a gaming system.

p4 2.4gb 533 fsb cpu
ASUS P4P800-MX
Crucial 512mb ddr400

Can I throttle back the memory to 333 instead of 400 without causing any problems? This is probably only a temporary setup. TIA.

You can throttle back memory as far as you wish, in fact making it slower actually increases stability.
