I recently purchased a prime z790-p wifi, 13700k, and g.skill ripjaw s5 6000 16x2gb memory. For reasons unknown to me, I am having issues getting it to run at the advertised speed. Xmp only results in an endless loop and will not boot. Manually setting it to higher speed does the same. I noticed it appears as 4800mhz in the bios and runs steady at 4000. Everything was purchased from microcenter and otherwise performs as advertised apart from the ram. I have never built a computer before and have never had this type of issue so I'm at a loss here. Any helpful info is greatly appreciated. Thanks.
