Hello all,

Yesterday when powering my PC on I noticed a light flashing back and forth between DRAM and CPU on the mobo, the cpu fan struggling to start.

So I took out the RAM sticks and re seated, no luck. Tried 1 ram stick in slot 2 no luck, tried 1 ram stick in slot 4 and it worked for an hour.

Today I tried the following:

Ram stick 1

Slot 1 / cpu fan spins but no display
Slot 2 / cpu fan no spin
Slot 3 / cpu fan no spin
Slot 4 / cpu fan no spin

Ram stick 2

Slot 1/ cpu fan spins and display
Slot 2 / cpu fan no spin
Slot 3 / cpu fan spins but no display red flashing between vram and cpu
Slot 4 / cpu fan no spin

1&3 briefly worked for a few power ons but
Now the ram won't work on either slot 1,2,3 or 4 but fans spin and pc powers up.

Motherboard is B550 AORUS PRO AC Gigabyte

RAM KLEEVS 2x16GB sticks DDR4

Unsure what to do

Drop the ram you currently own onto another known platform and then see if the issue persists. Likewise drop another known working pair of ram onto your motherboard and see if the issue persists.

Just an FYI, rams should be on slots A2 and B2. You might want to use this guide;

in conjunction with the Q-Flash Plus button on the rear to see if reflashing the BIOS helps revive your platform.

When posting a thread of troubleshooting nature, it's customary to include your full system's specs. Please list the specs to your build like so:
CPU:
CPU cooler:
Motherboard:
Ram:
SSD/HDD:
GPU:
PSU:
Chassis:
OS:
Monitor:
include the age of the PSU apart from it's make and model. BIOS version for your motherboard at this moment of time.
