Hi guys, I have a Dell T5500 which is driving me nuts. I'm looking for options to speed it up without breaking the bank. I'm especially interested if it's possible to speed it up enough to be able to edit 4K videos.

If I replace the video card with this one: XFX Radeon RX 570 RS XXX Edition 1286MHz, 8gb GDDR5 ( https://www.amazon.com/XFX-Radeon-1286MHz-Graphics-RX-570P8DFD6/dp/B077VX31FZ/ ) and the Hard drive with WD 1Tb SSD (https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B073SBQMCX/ref=twister_B076N3PP13?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1 ), will it be enough?

Here's my system:

Any advice?

The SSD (from an HDD) will be a nice boost. But looks like you already have an SSD. Rendering out to an SSD will still be a boost over out to an HDD though.

The GPU, depends on the application used for editing videos and whether it's can leverage the GPU too much (and whether there's a preference in said application for Nvidia or AMD cards).

I'd expect the aged architecture of the CPU (~10 years old at this point) to be more of a limiting factor here than anything else (except maybe rendering out to an HDD).
