I accidentally deleted my desktop shortcut on my quick launch toolbar. I
want it back. If I make a new shortcut and put it on the quick launch
toolbar, when I click it a new window is opened with the contents of my
desktop on it. That's not what I want. I want all opened windows to be
minimized so my desktop shows, like before. Anyone know how I can do this?

Perhaps this points to a bigger problem. In the path to place the newly
created shortcut, I don't have the folder Application Data in my
Systemprofile folder. I tried simply dragging the shortcut to the quick
launch tool bar and that seemed to work.
Should I be worried about the fact I don't have the folder?

Not to worry. The folder is hidden.
