Well, that sux, I hope that isn't true because 100 cannot really be considered a "LAUNCH"

That is weak! 100? If the RD600 is $300 or less (doubtful) I am on board (no pun intended). Over $300.... I will wait.

So we no longer have a firm launch date and we have a severally limited quantity.... ouch

I don't know what more than half the bios options mean.....so now I really want it.

I've got a small head start. Those bios are very similar ot my board, the only difference is now I have a FSB and NB to deal with instead of an integrated memory controller. You should see the setup in the RAM, there must be 20+ timings. I honestly know about 60% of my bios, thats about it.

5GHz.... Hopefully TEC + lapping + RD600 = World Record (where the world = my itty bitty apt lol).

as far as tec is concerned I think you wanna go with water/tec cuz air/tec won't cut it...

It is definitely TEC + H2O. I am going to get a 226w TEC for the CPU and a 180W for the G80/R600 each cooled by a separate water loop. I Think 5GHz is possible w/o LN2.... doesn't mean it is likely or probably, just means I think I can. Doesn't mean I am right... but why shoot for the mountains when you can shoot for the stars?
 
It's sad but true, especially if you want to be any good at it. Any yahoo can up the FSB until it becomes unstable, it takes a mastermind to turn instability into torture tested stability 8O

I myself am no where near the mastermind level... but sometimes I like to think I am :wink:
