I am bored of hearing the same Fusion, Same Bulldozer and so many other AMD code names....!! When is AMD going to kick intels A**...??

I just have one thing to say where do you think QPI came from HTT. Plain out and simple. Who made the first dual core ??? Who made the first quad core???? And I mean real dual cores and real quad cores not single cores stacked on each other and dual cores stacked on each other. Both companies have a lot to offer and what we are seeing should be commended. There is a lot to see here that will be obviously faster technology and it would not surprise me to see similar if not the same design in Intel chips soon. Both companies have innovated and copied from each other one time are another. Since I upgrade almost every year, I buy price to performance.I do not buy the highest end because of the lack of return to investment if i made over 100k a year then my income level would allow me to purchase what ever,I wanted and not have any concerns about my return of investment on my purchases.

I have never been an AMD fan but I think these thing will be monsters, not to mention they need to shut intel up. I am a huge intel fan but intel is getting realy cocky these days.

Agreed. And I'm female.
I'm very anxious to see how the Bulldozer architecture benefits/accommodates for the eight cores.

[citation][nom]renixis_infinity[/nom]Wow 8 coresThis will be awesome if this can handle photoshop processing, video conversion/processing and gaming at the same time without breaking a a sweat. I'll be glad to get one or rather, should I get a 1090T If this can match up that of Intel's i7 980X or just the i7 975X that'll be greator even if this is 5% to 10% slower, it would still be awesomeIt will be greater if Intel would release their new processors at the same timeMore new models, old model price drops can't wait for the benchmarks[/citation]

I'm running the 1090T tight now at 4.1 ghz stock voltage no problems. It can literally kick anything i throw at it, i can't imagine what this would do!

In the "die shot" there are ONLY 4 cores! Count them yourself if you don't believe me. In each corner there is a core roughly square, the section attached to each core (rectangular) is the L1 or L2 Cache and the longer rectangular objects detached form each core is L2 or L3 Cache.

Hate to burst your bubble but that is just not an 8 core die.
